Even though we had a shorter school week we still managed to pack lots in!
We are doing lots of practising for our parts in 'Reality Bites'. We are really looking forward to the show now.
We are coming to the end of our Volume topic; Rupert's Mum helped us to mix a drink on Thursday - we found out that we have to be careful with our measuring!

We continued taking pictures with our buddy class - here are a few more of us in survivor pose!
Our biggest achievement was our poetry recital on Friday when we all had to read or recite a poem in front of an audience. We tried to be fluent, use an appropriate volume and pace and entertain our audience. We all did really well and our audience had a lovely time.
When we come to school in the morning we do some of our essential word spelling. We take it very seriously!
In poetry we looked at a poem by Moira Andrew called Rainbows. She used lots of metaphors to describe a rainbow including 'a painted smile turned upside down'. Can you think of any of your own?
