This week we have immersed ourselves in our bird topic. These are some of the things which we have done in our exploring and browsing;
- listened to different bird songs
- read lots of picture books about birds
- brainstormed as many birds as we could
- looked at the different colours of birds
- read a poem about birds
- designed our own bird feeder
- sang along to 'Feed the birds' from Mary Poppins
- Used Google to search the internet for information about birds
- Looked at and listened to some of the birds around school
- Looked at pictures of birds in magazines in the classroom and the library
- Made bird collages with our buddies
Christchurch Library Service visited us on Tuesday. They read us some stories. They really made the stories come alive.In Maths, we had a lot of fun playing a game which is helping us to recall our basic facts at speed! Here is the link if you would like to play it at home.

Finally well done to Mia, Jonty and Lucy who received certificates in our 'last term's end of term assembly'. And a special well done for Kohl who won a special award for Honesty and Integrity.
