Term 3 Week 6

This week we have been preparing our artwork for our Team 4 fundraiser. We think you'll be impressed with our 'Kakapo on the fronds'. We won't post any here yet so it's a nice surprise for you!
The kakapo is the main focus of our enquiry topic - we are now finding out 'Why the kakapo is so endangered?' We have got lots of information now which we will choose from in order to write our reports.
In Maths we did some work on 2d shape with Mr Hull and now we are skip counting in 2s, 5s and 10s, understanding what 'x' means and some of us have been learning our 'tables'!
In English we have been writing narratives - they have to have a setting, a main character, a problem and a solution.
On Friday it was our turn to lead the team's assembly in the library. We said goodbye to Mrs Macdonald who is going on maternity leave. We hope that she comes back so that we can meet her new baby.

We also went to Team 3's shop day. It was amazing. They had put so much effort into making lots of goodies for us to buy and we were keen to support our buddies in Room 8. It was exciting having money to spend although we found out that just because you have lots of coins may not mean that you have more money than someone else! We hope you raise lots of money Team 3.

On Thursday we met up with our buddies again. We all love buddy time.
