Week 3

What have we been up to this week in Room 13?

In Maths we investigated capacity using one sheet of paper, a piece of tape and some cubes. In groups we compared the size of the containers we made to see whose had the smallest and the largest volume.

In our Topic work, we investigated how we could make an ice cube melt more quickly. We found out that by adding salt, ice melts faster. In fact it looked like it was 'eating' the ice! This is why salt can be put on the roads to make it safer when it is icy in winter.

Our buddies came to skip with us again and we found that we are improving under their brilliant teaching.
In Golden Time, Joel showed us his new kitten Chanel. She was so cute.
